Arriving at our Pedasi home was full of fun surprises. We saw a stunning number of brush fires on our 4 hour drive from PC. No one seemed to care, they just burned away merrily. Since there are no shortage of trees I have to assume they know what they are doing.

Pedasi has lots of beauty and a stunning number of chickens and dogs wandering the streets. Every day we play chickens or dogs to see which there are more of, seems to even out. Most wander lazily off the road when they see a car coming. Does this mean that a Panamanian chicken has more sense than a Torontonian cyclist? Possibly.

Love our new temporary home though. The backyard features a banana tree, two mango trees, a guava tree and a coconut tree. Finally tasted a freshly picked pineapple. Soooo good, like sunshine had a baby with sugar.
