Day 9 – The long road to Potrerillos
Much to the boys’ deep chagrin we left our Pedasi home bright and early, and to their much deeper chagrin I forced them to pose with the Pedasi sign on our way out the door. In my defense I had asked for that pose several times over the last 9 days. After forcing them to smile prettily we climbed back into the clown car and started the 5 hour drive to Potrerillos.
The temperature dropped as our altitude climbed and while I miss our sun (we hit rain pretty quickly) the fresh air is nice. It took a bit to settle in and I look forward to a bigger exploration of the grounds tomorrow AM when the sun is out and the rain is gone. Naturally there are chickens on the property, wouldn’t be Panama without some wild chickens. We also have a crap ton of June bugs, I guess no one told them that it is March.
Shopping in Boquete was an adventure, while the lack of vegan options was disappointing it was a hell of a lot cheaper and fresher than home. Plus no snow :). Weather permitting we are off to check out some waterfalls tomorrow.

It sounds like everyone is having an awesome time. I hope you like the new digs as much as the old.
